14/10/2008 - Mobile Waste Collections at Storrington and Pulborough
A member of Washington Parish Council is a representative on the Task Force that was set up to put an alternative facility in place when it was proposed that this be removed. At a meeting, today, there was an acceptance that there had been no replacement facility to take 'White Goods' at these sites due to an administrative error subsequent to the removal of the 'Totter'. It is due to be rectified immediately but please do remember that they are not able to take monitors, televisions, fridges, and if you are unsure about what you might take to this local facility, then please do contact HDC on 01403 733144.
